Sometimes I like to work on a little piece of canvas or wood. Just in my studio. Oil is a perfect medium for this kind of work.

Sandy road

2018

In the eastern part of The Netherlands there are still a lot of sandy roads and cart-tracks. I was here on a day in July. It looked so idyllic and quiet. But painting here was not that easy. All the time there was a tractor passing by and I had to replace my things. This oilpainting is sticked on a darkgrey lacquered piece of wood of 4 cm. Now it may stand on itself. Very dressy.
